Atty. Maria Lulu G. Reyes

She is a graduate of Saint Louis University College of Law and admitted to the practice of Law in 1992. As the former Legal Aid Lawyer of the INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES, Baguio-Benguet Chapter, she handled various pro-bono and de-officio criminal and civil cases.

She initially practiced law with the JULARBAL LAW OFFICE. In 1993 she worked as Chief of Staff of the Office of Congressman Edgar M. Avila in the House of Representatives familiarizing herself with the intricacies of law making. From 1995-1999, she worked at the Senate of the Philippines, serving as Chief Legislative Officer of Senators Leticia Ramos Shahani and Teresita Aquino-Oreta, consecutively.

She wrote a weekly column for a local newspaper. She is also active in non-governmental work, especially in advocacy of women’s rights. She is with the network of the Women’s Legal Bureau and is presently a member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer of Igorota Foundation, Inc.

Atty. Maria Lulu G. Reyes is also the current Department Head of Civil Law and member of the faculty of the School of Law of Saint Louis University.
